The student is able to classify key biochemical compounds and molecules, describe their structural characteristics, and explain their biological and biochemical functions. They understand the fundamental principles of the main metabolic pathways in cells and the human body, as well as the physiological significance of major biomolecule classes. Additionally, the student can justify the application of enzymes and biochemical reactions in industrial processes.
