Contact teaching, technical demonstrations, discussions of content in practical work and guided practical works and group discussions.
International connections
students are working with teacher, reflecting and discussing during various learning bases and excursions
Student workload
during four weeks period students show they master professional working skills and abilities to work independently.
Content scheduling
Photopolymer method; basics and knowledge of materials,
Starting tuesday 22.10. at 10 o'clock
First week concentrates to Photopolymer, during second week Carborundum method is presented. Last two weeks students continue working with the methods in their own emphasis; using either one or both methods.
Teacher is present mostly tuesday to thursday, student will work the whole week.
Joint meeting in class every tuesday at 10.
Ending of the course and interactive discussion at Thursday 14.11.
Further information
student is obliged to get printing papers and copy transparencies suitable for method and also personal protection clothing such as gloves and e.g. apron

Assessment methods and criteria
In the end of the course there will be final talk with the whole team where students by talk and prints show their mastery to the subject. Evaluation is emphasized with the student´s presence in teaching, working process and it's target/object and professional working skills
Assessment criteria, fail (0)
No approved practical works and presence in teaching is less than 80%.

Student
- can adapt given instructions to one’s own working
- can use essential professional concepts and tools and apply them to one’s own expression
- participates with dialogical manner to interactive situations
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
furthermore to previous student

- works and acts with ecological and ethical principals
