Objectives
Students will learn to use evidence-based knowledge when providing demanding nursing of children and adolescents.
Students will
- Deepen their competence in the clinical examination of child patients
- Enhance their professional competence in the acute nursing of children and adolescents and of long-term child patients.
- Learn to guide and support children and their families in the nursing of a critically ill and dying child
- Learn to recognise the special features of nursing of sick neonatal and premature infants
- Deepen their competence in the nursing of surgical child patients
- Learn to recognise the most common mental health disorders of children and adolescents and support children and their families using nursing methods
- Deepen their competence in the pharmacotherapy and fluid therapy of children and adolescents
- Learn to assess their activities in the work community and their professional development in the context of nursing of children and adolescents
