Objective

The student can explain and distinguish change processes associated with health and disease can describe the effect of systemic diseases on a patient’s general health and oral health, and vice versa knows how to offer nutritional guidance in various phases of a customer’s life and in response to changes in the customer’s state of health can draw conclusions and, using the therapeutic methods available to a dental hygienist, detect and react to the interdependencies between general health and oral health
