Objective
This course aims to provide an overview of the new product/service development process starting in front-end innovation and ending in the release phase. It will give the students a deep understanding in how a service or product is conceptualized and finally launched to the market.
After completing the course the student
•understands the new product or service development process and the role of different kind of innovations to business development
•knows the different innovation models and their specific features
•is able to use the different models for business development and concept/new product and service creation
•is able to understand the linkages between the company strategy, leadership and effective innovation management
•is able to create working environments and cultures that inspire people for innovation development
•understands the importance of successful adoption of diffusion of innovations
