Structure and content of the degree programme

In the online studies of media production it is possible to continue previously completed commercial studies or to complete an unfinished undergraduate Bachelor's Degree in Business combined with professional work experience into a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (AMK) in Media Production. The size of the degree is 210 ECTS credits. During the studies, 150 ECTS credits will be awarded and the previously acquired training and work experience will replace 60 ECTS credits. Previous work experience may include media and communication projects or business activities, for example.

The studies include internships. During the internship, the students becomes acquainted with the tasks of their professional field in the work environment of choice. Internships and project studies give the student the opportunity to network with organizations of interest and to get acquainted with new job assignments.
