Objective

After completing the course, the student is able to:
The student develops preanalytics and customer processes in his/her chosen area of clinical laboratory expertise.
The student acts as an expert in his/her chosen area of clinical laboratory expertise and participates in the multiprofessional competence development of the work community.
The student anticipates future challenges in his/her chosen area of clinical laboratory expertise and applies the acquired knowledge in developing laboratory work in multiprofessional teams.

Content

Preanalytics and customer processes and their development in the chosen area of clinical laboratory expertise (5 cr):

Assessment and development methods of preanalytics and customer processes.
Quality and cost-efficiency in sample collection.
Productizing and making visible one’s own clinical expertise.

Elective area of clinical expertise according to the student’s individual study plan (5 cr):

Current scientific knowledge and evidence based practice in the chosen area of clinical expertise.
Analysis and application of knowledge in the chosen area of clinical expertise.
Productizing and making visible one’s own clinical expertise.
