Objective

The participants are able to describe the whole life cycle of packagings.
The participants are able to describe packaging techniques and are able to select an appropriate packaging material for the application. The participants are able to choose appropriate analysis techniques for packaging material characterization. The participants are able to consider the requirements of circular economies in package design.

Content

The course covers different packaging technologies and materials. The students familiarise themselves to packaging material characterization and testing. The course quides to material selection emphasising ecological aspects and circular economies.

Materials

The course will be held in English (reporting). Materials in Itslearning. Students gather also their own web-material.
