Content scheduling

The Photovoltaic Systems course provides fundamental Engineering knowledge, design methods and simulation tools for the designing of the Solar Photovoltaic energy systems. The PV Course introduces the working principle for solar energy conversion. Key components used in PV including PV modules and converters are described, with focus on their implementation in a renewable energy production system. Practical issues for an optimal yield are covered starting from the planning and ending for the realization of installations and commissioning. In the frame of a study project students will conceive and design a PV plant for a real site. The plant will be implemented and evaluated in the PV SOL simulation software.
