Objective

BACHELOR’S THESIS 15 CR

- Students will
- Learn to identify the key development needs in their professional duties and solutions to them
- Learn to work independently and (critically) assess and use research information in their field
- Learn to adhere to the principles of research ethics
- Learn to handle cooperation partnerships responsibly
- Develop and demonstrate their ability to apply their knowledge and competence in practical expert assignments related to their professional studies
- Learn to use supervision to advance their Bachelor’s thesis
- Learn to present their progress as well as to give and receive feedback
- Demonstrate their familiarity with the field of their thesis as well as their language skills
- Learn to perform and document their work and to communicate the results

Bachelor’s Thesis Reporting and Maturity Test 8 cr
- Supervised thesis work
- Presenting and defending the thesis and serving as an opponent to another student’s work as agreed
- Maturity test
- Publication of the thesis

Teaching methods

Information lecture, independent and groupwork, seminar, presentation, working as an opponent, process writing, poster or oral presentation in the bachelor's thesis fair.

International connections

process writing, independent and groupwork, independent literature searches, dialectical supervising discussions on the topic and methodological aspects, peer feedback in seminars

Student workload

Workload: 8 cr (8 x 27 h) = 216 hours
Bachelor’s thesis report as the written assignment
The process of proposal writing, performance as presenter of the report and as the opponent to another, participation in the discussions compulsory. All seminars are compulsory to be present and working in all roles.Bachelor's thesis fair.
