Objective
The student can
- describe the treatment practices associated with the oral health care needs of a patient undergoing orthodontic therapy
- describe the tasks of a dental hygienist in orthodontic treatment
- identify the most common abnormalities in occlusal development
- promote and maintain the oral health of a customer undergoing orthodontic therapy
- consult with orthodontists and refer a customer for further examinations and treatment
- describe the tasks of dental hygienist in bleaching treatment
- describe the indications and contraindications of bleaching treatment
- how to do bleaching and advice patient
