Objective

The aim of the course is to provide basic skills in ICT and business mathematics.

Content

The student can
- use office programs at work
- prepare standard forms with a word processing program
- prepare visually and informative presentations with a presentation graphics program
- uses a spreadsheet program efficiently and correctly at work
- take advantage of the possibilities of sharing between different programs
- calculate various basic calculations of business mathematics

Assessment methods and criteria

Grade is based on evaluated tasks on mathematics (25 %), Excel (25 %), Word (25 %) and PowerPoint (25 %). The teacher will give more specific instuctions as the course proceeds.

Assessment criteria, fail (0)

The student does not return the evaluated tasks with in the deadline.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Student returns all evaluated tasks with in the deadline and shows they're able to do basic tasks on mathematics and Office-softwares.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

Student returns all evaluated tasks with in the deadline and shows they're able to do basic and some advanced tasks on mathematics and Office-softwares.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Student returns all evaluated tasks with in the deadline and shows they're able to do basic and advanced tasks on mathematics and Office-softwares.
