Objective

The student is able to
• exercise client’s functioning and it’s components in directions of client oriented goals by utilizing and applying different instructions methods and exercises,
• carry out the therapeutic exercise safely taking into account the client’s environment,
• evaluate the implementing of therapeutic exercise and if necessary change instruction and implementing plan.

Content

Movement control as a basis for facilitation, facilitation of basic movements, exercising balance, visual, verbal, cognitive and manual instruction in practice, giving feedback in practice, taking into account the capacity of clients at different ages in instruction and exercise.

Qualifications

The student is able to explain human musculoskeltal, neural and vital organ structures and function.
The student is able to observe basic elements of human movement and functionality and recognise main strenghts and deficiencies in them.
The student is able to guide and facilitate motor learning with physiotherapeutical guidance methods.
