Objective

After completing this study unit:

You can choose your own timetable to do this course online in Optima between 23.9.- 8.12.2019. Contact the responsible teacher by email, when you have done the course, so you will have your evaluation during the next two weeks.

Different CASE-methods, where students concentrate to ethical dilemmas and try to find the best possible solutions that they also must justify. CASES will be from everyday working life, experiences of participants own or person you know in personal life. There is also cases that teacher presents in written or drawned or video format. Their aim is to be as an activator to the learning process. The CASEs come f. eg from the themes: multi-culture, collegiality, equailyty, privacy and autonomy. Self-evaluation and peersupport will be excecuted.
MediaLoop (looking for ethical issues from social and health care system in online news, conversation areas in Internet, social media etc and reflect them according to guiding questions.Ethical principles and values of different professions in social welfare and health care and other theoretical background to be able to justify own opinions. Sharing experiences in conversation area (Optima). Feedback.

-You can find alternative solutions for ethically challencing situations in clinical practice, but justifiying is poor
-You can describe some ideas how your understanding of the shared professional values and ethical bases in social and health care
You have completed your learning diary during the course period
