Tavoitteet

Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) is a recommended entry point into IT certification and job preparation. MTA will validate student’s core knowledge and enhance understanding of IT fundamentals.

After completing the MTA Certification 98-368 Mobility and Device Fundamentals the student understands the fundamentals of:

* Enterprise Mobility

Device Configurations
* Device options: Describing Microsoft account, Configuring Control Panel, Configuring system options
* Desktop settings: Configuring the Start menu, profiles, display settings, shortcuts, and group configurations and capabilities
* Drive encryption: Configuring BitLocker, preparing for file encryption
* Updates: Describing Windows Update, app updates, and device system updates

Data Access and Management
* Cloud storage services: Describing OneDrive, Microsoft Azure storage, OneNote, Outlook, and Office 365
* Local storage: Describing storage spaces and storage pools
* File systems: Describing FAT, FAT32, NTFS, and Resilient File System Overview (ReFS)
* File and print sharing: Describing NTFS and share permissions, HomeGroup, print drivers, and effective permissions; create public, basic, and advanced shares; map drives
* Data encryption: Describing encrypting file system (EFS); describe how EFS-encrypted folders impact moving and copying files; describe BitLocker To Go, virtual private network (VPN), public key, and private key; certificate services; and SSL

Device Security
* Differences between the Internet, an intranet, and an extranet: Describing uses of private networks, public networks, firewalls, and clouds
* User authentication: Describing Multifactor authentication, describe smart cards, describe Windows Rights Management Services, describe biometrics and password procedures
* Permissions: Configuring file and share permissions; describing the behavior when moving or copying files from one location to another; describe basic and advanced permissions; describing taking ownership, delegating, and resultant permissions
* Malware: Describing computer viruses, Trojan horses, spyware, and adware; describing antivirus and antimalware strategies

Cloud Services
* Types of cloud services: Describing productivity services, storage services, communications services, and search services
* Microsoft Intune: Describing Microsoft Intune capabilities, selective wipe, and location settings
* Microsoft Azure: Describing virtual machines, Azure services, disaster recovery, high availability, redundancy, and fault tolerance

Enterprise Mobility
* Identity services: Describing Windows Server Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Account, and federation services
* Business data access: Describing Company Portal, Work Folders, and Azure RemoteApp
* Bring Your Own Device (BYOD): Describing device-centric to people-centric IT, desktop virtualization, Dynamic Access Control policies, and Windows Rights Management
