• Gain proficiency in recognizing the key areas for development in their professional duties
• Understand the nature and process of health care development, health care research and working in a project
• Know how to use common methods of research and development
• Know how to interpret and apply the results of research and development

• Key concepts: development of health care, emergency care and nursing, scientific research, applied research, working in a project
• The ethical and legal premises of researching development
• Stages of a research and development project
• Research and development methods
• Collection, processing and analysis of material
• Interpretation and application of results
• Reliable and ethical research
• Planning and reporting on research and development work

Toteutus on kokonaan verkossa, jolloin itsenäistä työskentelyä on 81h (3 op).
Verkkokurssi sisältää useita tehtäviä, jotka arvioidaan hyväksytty-hylätty periaatteella.
Lopuksi verkossa tehtävä tentti arvioidaan numeerisesti 0-K5.
