- in order to ensure equality in grading among group member, it is assumed as a default that individual students' workload in group assignment is equal between the group members. Primarily the workload division between group members is the responsibility of the group. However, if a group member fails to contribute to the group workload at the level agreed or acceptable within the group, then the group brings this issue to teacher's awareness. Teacher holds a hearing where every member of the group has the possibility to comment the situation. After the hearing a decision is made regarding how the group will continue its work.
To pass the course:
- The student must gain points in both the assignments (3, 4, 5 of list above) and the exam (6 of the list above), and gain at least 50% of total maximum points.
- Assignments can not be resubmitted in order to improve the grade. Exam can be retaken on re-exam days
The approach for using artificial intelligence in this course's individual assignments is defined separately. In general in this course
the use of artificial intelligence for learning purposes (e.g. getting ideas) is permitted and must be reported. The use of artificial intelligence for PRODUCING WRITTEN OUTPUTS FOR ASSIGNMENTS IS PROHIBITED and can result failing the assignment. The use of artificial intelligence in exam is prohibited, because the exam measures the students' learning and knowledge regarding the course topics.
