Objective

NURSING OF INTERNAL MEDICINE PATIENT 7 cr IMCSfor Chinese nurses combined with nursing basics practice periodThe student shall be able to- learn to plan, implement and evaluate the individual treatment of internal medicine patients and explain his or her actions- recognise changes due to internal diseases in the patient and explain them to his or her and the family members- learn to apply treatment methods used at internal medicine units with individual patients- guide the patient and his or her family members in health promotion and the treatment of disorders- find ethical solutions in different treatment situations- understand a nurse's responsibility in infection control and nursing of internal medicine patients, and act aseptically in different treatment situations.- improve his or her competence in medicinal treatment in internal medicine (Medication Passport)- carry out medicinal treatment safely and in accordance with a physician's prescription- monitor the effects and effectiveness of medicinal treatment- document information relating to the treatment of internal medicine patients
