The evaluation of a course unit can be based on many different things, for instance attendance, exams, series of assignments or completion of learning assignments, or various project outcomes and the presentation of them. The evaluation of course units is based on the knowledge of the student, and the growth of their competence. In some course units, a factor for the evaluation is how well the student adheres to the agreed timetable.
Mostly the evaluation of studies is based on the individual, but sometime the grades are based on the working of the group and its outcome. The grade for the course unit is given on the scale 0–5 or as verbal assessment pass/fail.
