Approval of the thesis requires acceptance and evaluation by both the thesis advisor and an external examiner, as well as a passed maturity test.
If the thesis is completed collaboratively, it must include clearly distinguishable sections based on the contributions of each author.
The evaluation consists of a brief written feedback and a numerical grade on a scale from 0 to 5.
Different components (artistic and theoretical) are assessed separately, and the final grade is determined as the average of these evaluations.
The assessment is carried out using Turku University of Applied Sciences' official thesis evaluation form.
