Assessment methods and criteria
Exam, reports of assignments and assignment returns will be evaluated for grading.
For final grading, weight of Exam (F-5) is 50%, assignments (F-5) 30% and plant simulation (F-5) weight is 20%.
Requires 40% of the points to pass the exam.
Timetables of the assignments will be agreed in the beginning of the course.
Assessment criteria, fail (0)
Exam Failed and
Assignments undone and not returned.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
The content and structure of the exam and assignments are weak in scope and comprehensiveness. Demonstrates insufficient command of the vocabulary and uses incorrect terminology. Significant improvements are needed in the formatting and clarity of the submissions. The analysis and use of information lack critical thinking, and conclusions are incomplete or missing. Calculations, tables, and images are presented inadequately, with errors in the results. Assignments were submitted late.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
The structure of the exam and assignments does not align with the content of the topic. Demonstrates a moderate understanding of the subject-specific vocabulary. The content is superficial and not comprehensive. The presentation of submissions needs improvement in terms of refinement. The text is not very clear, diverse, precise, or reflective. There are errors in the calculations, images, and tables. The work lacks thorough research, reflection on background information, and a comprehensive combination of theory and practice. There were delays in submitting the assignments.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The structure of the exam and assignments is clear, with content that is relevant to the topic and detailed. Demonstrates knowledge of the subject-specific vocabulary. The presentation of submissions is polished and refined. The text is clear, diverse, precise, and reflective. There are no errors in the calculations, images, or tables.
