GENERAL INFO:
Practices will be carried out in teaching laboratories under supervision. You work independently, in pairs or in small groups. We practice how to work in a clinical laboratory environment and apply what we have learned in theory. PARTICIPATION IN THE LABORATORY PRACTICES IS MANDATORY. Absences must always be reported to the teacher and a way to compensate for the absence must be agreed upon.
HEMATOLOGY I:
Blood cell production: erythropoiesis, granulocytopoiesis, thrombopoiesis, lymphopoiesis, monocytopoiesis. Function of the coagulation system: primary haemostasis, secondary haemostasis and fibronolytic system.
Laboratory tests: Complete blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, MGG staining, preparation and evaluation of peripheral blood smear and basic laboratory diagnostics to evaluate the function of the coagulation system.
Microscope image formation and the use of a microscope.
