•Understand the key concepts, markets, and actors of sports business and comprehend the significance of sports as a global business.
•Evaluate the economic impacts of sports on society and business.
•Identify and describe unique characteristics of sports as an industry.
•Understand the basics of sports marketing and sales.
•Be familiar with trends in the sports business.
