Objective
After completing this study unit student:
- understands technical 2D drawings and masters the basics of 2D drawing.
- is able to measure and mark correct dimensioning to the drawing.
- is able to use typical measurement tools used in a machine shop.
- understands the principles of CAD modelling.

- types of technical drawings
- basics of 2D drawing, projection, section, measurements etc.
- use of basic measurement tools, Vernier caliper and micrometer
- basics of CAD-drawing, introduction to CAD software, exercises
