Objective

After completing this course students are able to discuss a university of applied sciences as a study environment recognize the principles of accessible studying describe the activities and services of the Student Union (TUO) recognize the structure and contents of the degree from the university of applied sciences apply the curriculum in their degree programme look for study opportunities provided by other degree programmes name regulations and rules governing studying at a university of applied sciences use the opportunities provided by student financial aid, and use the services of student health services.

Erilaisiin oppimisympäristöihin tutustuminen (Tilat ja laitteet, kirjasto, Winha Optima, SoleOPS, Messi ym.) Opiskelijakunta TUO Esteetön opiskelu (fyysinen, psyykkinen ja sosiaalinen) Ryhmäytyminen Koulutusalaan tutustuminen (ammattikorkeakoulututkinnon rakenne ja sisältö, oman koulutusohjelman opetussuunnitelman esittely ja siihen tutustuminen, HOPS-ajattelun lähtökohdat ja mahdollisuudet (muut koulutusohjelmat, JOO-opinnot, virtuaaliopinnot), ammattikorkeakouluopiskelua koskevat säädökset ja määräykset) Opintososiaaliset edut (opintojen rahoitus, ateria- ja matkaedut, terveydenhuolto)
