Objective

Student obtains the skills and knowledge required for successful performance in basic mathematics and physics courses within engineering education.

Content

• Handling mathematical variables and expressions
• Calculations involving percents
• Calculations involving exponents (including negative and fractional exponents)
• Handling equations (degrees 1. and 2.)
• Basics of geometry
• Plotting functions
• Expressing measurement results graphically
• Interpretation of graphical presentations
• Calculations involving physical quatities and units
• International system of Units (SI)
• Handling physical equations, e.g., equations describing movements with constant speed or acceleration.
