Objective
After completing the course, student will
 * Understand the basic phenomena of heat and thermodynamics and their effects in technical applications 
 * Comprehend the fundamental thermodynamic quantities and be able to apply them in describing engineering problems.
 * Comprehend the principles of heat transfer and its effects in engineering applications
 * Be able to analyse computationally the flow of liquids and gases in engineering application
 * Comprehend the ideal gas law and be able to utilize it in analysis of state-transitions 
 * Comprehend the principles of heat engines and heat pumps.
