Objective
When completing project work, the student applies what he / she has learned to practical work tasks. The co-operation between the university of applied sciences and working life is intensifying and the student gets a good feel for working life. The aim of the project work is to choose the field of construction. The work can be, for example, a design, calculation, quality measurement, procurement, task planning, schedule, research or development task. In project work, the student presents his / her skills in running an independent project.
Content
The project work can be completed in Turku University of Applied Sciences' project work projects, or the student acquires a client for the project work in the construction industry and approves the content with the head of education. The head of education and the teacher appointed as the supervisor of the project work evaluate the scope of the work and inform the student about the credits to be given before starting the work. A written contract is made for the performance of the work. The client pays compensation to the university of applied sciences according to the scope of the work.
