The student:

• Understands cancer as a disease and identifies factors affecting cancer prevention and early detection
• Can diagnose the most common cancers, and knows the most common forms of treatment and follow-up methods for cancer
• Students can provide cancer patients with symptomatic and humane nursing services
• Students will know how to perform safe pharmacotherapy and how to pay attention to their personal occupational safety
• Students will know how to support and guide the functional capacity, well-being and quality of life of cancer patients and how to work with customers and their family members as a member of a multiprofessional team
