Objective

After completing the course, the student is able to:
· prevent non-communicable diseases and promote health using different methods in the level of individual, community and population
· evaluate the methods of the prevention and to participate in the strategic developing of them
· explain the epidemiology, etiology and pathophysiology of non-communicable diseases and principles of the care
· care the patient with non-communicable diseases comprehensively and patient-centered
· evaluate the demands of the patient’s individual medical treatment and to analyse factors which affect the carrying out of the medical treatment applying the basic information of the pharmacology
· describe the future and challenges of the care of non-communicable diseases

· Methods of the prevention of non-communicable diseases and the meaning of multi-professional co-operation
· Non-communicable diseases, the epidemiology and pathophysiology of them
· Comprehensive care of non-communicable diseases
· Medical treatment of non-communicable diseases from point of view of the clinical pharmacology
