Descriptions
Diploma of Higher Education in Lean and Quality (30 ECTS) consist of following studies:
Basics of quality management and standards, 5 ECTS
Building Quality Management System, 5 ECTS
Lean basics and principles, 5 ECTS
Quality control tools and statistical methods, 5 ECTS
Risk Management, 5 ECTS
Project work, 5 ECTS
The studies give and introduction to lean thinking and knowledge about eg. following standards: ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45000, ISO31000, ISO13053, EFQM.
Objective
Diploma of Higher Education in Lean and Quality gives a holistic overview to quality management in a company. It also introduces lean principles and methods. Studies start from a basic understanding, but deepen to project work, where learnt topics will be applied to practice. The studies build competence to perform different quality development projects and responsibilities in a company.
Development
Studies start with a joint face to face meeting at the campus and then continue both online and at the campus depending on the course. All courses include independent study on the basis of the material given. Student can search additional material from internet, if necessary.
Face to face sessions will be agreed separately and will be organized in afternoons or evenings three hours at the time.
Further information
The evaluation will be based eg in assignments and/or exams. Evaluation will be explained at the beginning of each course. Grading 1 – 5.
