Higher education studies and Finnish as a Second Language 1 (B1) (5cr)

Objective

The students know basic facts of field of their interest in Finland and familiarize themselves with an organization and its functions in this field. The students recognize and can use important concepts of the field. They also become familiar with task areas in the field. Finnish language proficiency level: B1.1 (CEFR).

Content

The course introduces students to a field of their interest as part of Finnish society and focuses on important concepts and information search. The students study terminology of the field and strengthen their command of essential grammatical structures.

Qualifications

Minimum language proficiency level B1 in Finnish.
