Exploring Teacher Profession/H-H Ped. Inst.Laajuus (5 cr)

Objective

The aim of the course is to strengthen students' teacher identity as well as to learn skills and abilities to develop and study teacher profession.

Content

During the seminar the students concentrate on a few topics they have agreed upon as a group. Students are encouraged to reflect on their role as an initiator and creator of pedagogical information. Students create their own teacher portfolios and they get familiar with educational research methods.
