Objective

The student
- understands international and national competence requirements of advanced clinical practice in palliative
care and evaluates them critically in diverse environments.
- recognizes the strengths and development needs of his/her expertise and advanced clinical competencies in
palliative care and, based on these, creates a personal development and learning plan.
- evaluates critically and based on evidence changes in palliative care and services and their significance for
his/her own and his/her work community’s competencies and development.
- is committed to the continuous development of his/her own expertise, learning together and sharing
expertise in multidisciplinary networks.
understands the philosophical and ethical foundations of palliative care in clinical decision?making in palliative
care and promotes their realization in practice.
