Objective
After completing the course, the student can
- manages the processes of logistics service companies and masters the application of process thinking in the service production environment as well as systems thinking
- apply production-economic thinking from the point of view of both the company's internal activities and the value chains formed between companies;
- enhance the performance of terminals by influencing capacity factors and describe their impact on the level of customer service, profitability and competitiveness of logistics service companies
- apply different measurement and observation methods and be able to make plans based on them
- search, summarize and refer to previous relevant surveys of warehouses and terminals
- use methods for obtaining qualitative and quantitative information needed for development
- analyze, process and present the collected information as a basis for decision-making
