Objective

The students understand the scientific approach in research and will be equipped with the tools necessary to carry out a research project for the Bachelor’s Thesis. The aim of the study unit is to develop the students’ ability for critical resource analyses, and to improve their skills in producing new knowledge and research report for business. The course introduces various methodological approaches with the help of examples and rehearses students in quantitative and qualitative research attitudes, their pros and cons, differences and similarities.The student will learn basic methods of sampling, statistical and graphical description as well as the testing of differences between groups and association between variables. The student will be able to use SPSS program for data analyses.
