Objective

After a completed study unit the student understands the principles of feature modelling and the benefits it provides in product design acquires a comprehensive understanding of the use of PDM in the product design process can create standard models and surface models can model a product and generate assemblies and working drawings of parts.

Catia and Vertex 3D modelling software surface modeling with Catia standard modelling with Vertex the basics of volume modelling parametric design, relations, modelling techniques PDM (Product Data Management) assembly drawings drafting of working drawings modelling of double-curvature and multiform surfaces mould modelling animations and simulations.
