Objective

After completing the course the student can: identify finite arithmetic and geometric series and calculate their sums identify converging infinite geometric series and calculates their sums find power series for a function and utilize it solve linear constant coefficient difference equations using z transforms determine Fourier-series expansions using mathematical programs.
