Objective

After completing the course the student can:solve equations (the equation can contain roots, trigonometric functions, exponential and logarithmic functions)give the answer in an expected form (e.g. as a fraction or in different forms of a complex number),use matrices and determinants (e.g. for solving linear simultaneous equations),use dot and cross products in applications (e.g. the use of vector products in Physics and Electrical Engineering),use relevant mathematical denotation correctly.
