Engineering Materials course consist of basic knowledge of material properties and technologies closely involved with materials and their performance in engineering. Importance of material cost to final product expense is together with selection of materials, where cost and performance balance is evaluated, are the main topics. The effect of heat treatments and mechanical working on material properties in relation with material inner structure is introduced.
