Objective

Studentas members of a team, the student is capable of defining the patient’s anesthetic nursing needs, to plan and implement care and to assess its efficacyto improve his or her skills to implement anesthetic care in hospitalto improve his or her skills in airway management (intubation and other) and in controlled ventilation and understands ventilator´s setups, parameters and their interpretation.to improve his or her skills to monitor and to maintain a patient during anesthesia, recognize changes in their vital functions and master methods of responding to them.improve his or her skills to face, to help and guide clients/patients of different ages under the care.to apply nursing methods according to the patientto improve his or her medicinal treatment (Medication Passport, and medications doses, effects, indication, contraindication, side effects and methods of responding to them and monitoring medication care.)to master documenting and reporting of patient care according to the anesthetic treatment processbecome familiar with the patients postoperative care immediately after operation.to become familiar with the nursing methods, care relationship and multi professional teamwork in nursing and learn to use clinical supervision to aid his or her professional development.to assess the significance of his or her values and attitudes in facing clients/patients of different ages and in professional interaction.
