Objective

The goal of the course is to examine the legislative regulations of international contracting from the perspective of public law and private regulation. The focus of the course is on the regulative procedures created by the private sector.

Students
- Recognize the sources of norms in international trade,
- Can explain the key features of international trade legislation,
- Are able to explain the role of private regulation in directing international value chains,

- International regulative environment,
- International trade legislation,
- Examples of regulative processes in retail, food, forest, clothing, electronic sector, and chemical industry,
- Methods to direct value chains.
