Objective
After taking part in this module, the student:
- can compare different energy production plants, and understands the governing principles and basic structures of energy production plants
- can determine the energy conversion chain used in a power plant, and can calculate the overall efficiency
- knows the pros and cons of combined heat and power production (CHP)
- knows the relevance of the combustion process in energy production
