Objective
After the course, the student is able to take into account the seasonal variations in the method of production and design. The student knows how to prepare the storage and operating temperature requirements of materials during winter time. The student knows the importance of moisture control and drainage plan. The student is familiar with the special requirements for winter concreting. The student knows the moisture measurement methods and concrete temperature measurement methods. The student is able to calculate the strength of concrete structure on the basis of the daily heat rate.
