Content scheduling

This course has two main topics: basic models and concepts of digital business and CRM. Course aims to provide understanding of digital business and its possibilities. The digital change in business models and modern customer relationship management (CRM). Schedule Jan - May 2021. Detailed schedule will be given in first lecture. Course materials are in Its Learning.

Objective

Having completed the course, the student is able to
- define basic terms
- describe most common business models
- apply simple business model analysis

Content

- basic characteristics of digital business
- the most common tools and model used in digital business
- basic methods for business model analysis

Lectures and exercises. The exercises will be done in groups and individually.

The amount of effort is the one required for 5 cr.
Learning tasks will be done both individually and in group work

Evaluation methods and criteria

Evaluation will be based on main assignment (final report) + presentation which is done in group. Final assignment covers 100% of the grade (0-5) All other group tasks must be done and passed and returned in time.

Group assignment not returned or is fail. In order to pass the course all assignments must be done. Student has not been participating in group work.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The group assignment main items completed but are covered superficially. Very little critical thinking visible. All produced materials are showing poor or satisfactory quality.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

Student has been participating actively.The group assignment main items covered with good quality and justified facts. Work shows critical thinking, suggested business analysis tools are used and source materials are well used. All produced materials (group) are showing good quality.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Student has been participating actively. The group assignment is covered with depth and is based on justified facts. All produced materials are showing excellent quality, suggested business analysis tools are used and conclusions made. Source and additional materials are widely used. Works shows critical thinking.
