Objective
The student is able to identify different materials, their qualities and the ways of using materials in designed objects.The student is able to make differnt types of prototypes to illustrate the design in different phases of design prosess.

Muotoilun materiaalit: eri materiaalit, materiaalien muokkausmahdollisuudetsekä käyttöominaisuudet ja-kohteet.Materiaalien käyttö muotoiluprosessin vaiheissa (prototypointi)sekämuotoiltavissa tuotteissa.Materiaalien historiaa, nykyisyyttä ja tulevaisuuden näkymiä sekä suhdetta kestävän kehityksen tavoitteisiin.Materiaalien ymmärrystäkehittäviä ja prototypointiin valmistavia harjoitus- ja suunnittelutehtäviä.
