Content scheduling
The aim of this course is to increase your understanding of cultural issues affecting starting, expanding or closing businesses across the markets. The course covers an essential point on adjusting your business when dealing with people and companies in different cultures. Doing business with people from different cultural backgrounds can be challenging not only due to the long physical distance.
The student will start the course finding information on given materials and links on carrying out business abroad. The student will define from his/ her own interest scope for further working. During the course you need to analyze business operations in various / selected business cultures. You need to build your own learning portfolio. And at the end you will prepare a short presentation. Before getting grade you need to evaluate your learning during the course

Student increases his or her understanding of cultural issues affecting starting, expanding or closing businesses across the markets.
Content
Student selects topics within the objectives of the course.
Materials
There is some given materials and links to start the course. You need to build your own learning portfolio including reading materials, books and online links.
Teaching methods
You will find out information on given materials and links. You need to find need to build your own learning portfolio including reading materials, books and exploring field in practice and prepare synthesis on your learning. You are encouraged to take your own initiative to focus what you prefer.
Exam schedules
No exam. You need to prepare your own learning portfolion and return all given assigments by end of the implementation period.
Pedagogic approaches and sustainable development
Student will take an active and responsible role in learning: defining the goal, finding materials and reporting on learning. There is no lectures but regular activating teams sessions on the actual issues rising during the implementation. You are encourated to create course on the basis of your own interest.
Completion alternatives
This is online course. You can carry out working at your own. There will be regular voluntary teams sessions to support your learning. You do not need to participate any joint action.
Student workload
You will start given links and material to generate your viewpoint and ideas. You need to fix your working load equivalent to 5 credits
You have to return during the course:
1) personal goals for learning (practice to theory OR theory to practice );
2) reflection on reading (books, articles, research reports etc) against personal target on learning;
3) summary presentation at any form on learning;
4) reflection (given form and free comments).
Learning is a process and you can’t measure it on pages nor length of reflection. There have to be always personal touch on learning and you need to make learning visible.
Evaluation methods and criteria
After completing all above, it is time to evaluate your learning. The teacher/ coach will give you grade on the basis how have you carried out the process, found out your learning bath, select the materials, as well as how presenting the core finding of your learning. Everyone taking active learning attitude and his/ her own initiative will be passed.

No initiative. All assignments not returned. The student has not even understanding the subject of the course.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
Understand the subject of the course and can reflect it in the conerxt of the subject. Uses
professional terms, definitions and language in all tasks given. The process is abundant
and the output is scarce.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
The student applies analytic, problem based and critical thinking on the topics during
the classes and in the tasks given. He/she has good composition and expression of documentation and they indicate personal understanding of facts discussed.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student os capable of applying gained knowledge in relevant practices. Has excellent composition and expression of documentation and they indicate personal and professional
understanding of facts discussed.
