Objective
After completing the course the student:
- is able to use multimeter and oscilloscope
- can name common components used in electronics and knows their basic characteristics
- can calculate currents, voltages and resistances in simple circuits
- knows the basics of digital and analog blocks used in electronics
- understands how communication signal is formed in time and frequency domain and what are transmission rate and bandwidth
- understands the need of time-, frequency- and code division technique.

- Basic concepts of Circuit analysis and measurements
- Current, voltage, resistance
- Active and passive components used in electronics
- Basics of analog and digital electronics
- Time- and frequency domain
- Transmission rate and bandwidth
- Time division, frequency division and code division.

Assessment methods and criteria
the final grade is an average value of grades of parts, i.e.
- Electric circuits and measurements (50%)
- Electronics (50%)
Student must pass both parts to get the final grade in this course.
Non-returned tasks in any assessed task results to grade -3.
Only on time returned tasks are valid.
