Objective
The student achieves the following knowledge and skills
-- changes resulting from the loss of teeth
- basic principles of designing partial dental prostheses
- factors affecting the choice of type of prosthesis
- factors affecting occlusal determination
- design of partial prostheses with an acryl and metal framework
- administration of pre-prosthodontic care required in the manufacture of partial prostheses
- making impressions for removable prostheses
- determining the occlusion of a completely and partially edentulous patient
- performing actions needed in the repair of prostheses
