Objective
Objectives
• Students learn to communicate and interact in an appropriate, customer-oriented manner in multiprofessional situations in working life
• They will know how to take the recipient, context and the requirements of the field into account and communicate in a well structured, clear and convincing way in emergency care and nursing contexts.
• Students will be able and willing to develop their Finnish language and communication skills as part of their professional competence and will gain practice in how to encounter multicultural customers in emergency care and nursing
• Students will be able to describe topical challenges relevant to the health and well-being of the population and their contributing factors as a part of emergency care and nursing
• They will know how to describe the indicators of the health and well-being of the population and the importance of data in identifying the need for services and the provision of services
• Students will be able to describe the overall structure of social and health care services and the social security system (incl. supporting occupational and functional capacity and rehabilitation) and the legislation concerning social and health services
